Contact the owner In the News Sharpening Skills at The Redken Exchange in New York City Sanctuary Salon hairstylists Ayla Davis and Jocelyn Brady sharpened their professional edge and took their skills to the next level at the award-winning Redken Exchange in New York City. Both stylists won a 3 day hands-on seminar paid for by Sanctuary Salon by achieving salon and personal goals. Along with stylists from around the globe they learned advanced techniques in hair design and hair color from leading experts in the salon industry. The Redken Exchange is an award-winning source of higher education in the salon industry. Ayla and Jocelyn's recent visit provided them with an interactive training experience where they received special hands on attention from some of the industries best stylists. Salon professionals from all corners of the world attend The Redken Exchange each year making it a great venue for exchanging tips, ideas and techniques with other stylists – and our way of bringing you the latest in fashionable hair trends. Sanctuary Salon Wins Runner Up in Redken’s "Night of Color" Contest Sanctuary Salon knows that “Girls just want to have fun" and that’s why the salon participated in Redken 5th Avenue NYC’s “Night of Color” contest. The contest challenged salons nationwide to host an event to educate and inspire clients with the seasons hottest hair fashion – gorgeous, shiny hair color! Salons competed by submitting photographs and a detailed event description. “We were very excited to hold this event for our clients. Completing their overall look with the perfect color is the best way to make a statement!” says Sandy Weber, owner of Sanctuary Salon. "Our 'Night of Color' included free makeup applications and consultations by Colorescience representatives. Guests indulged in champagne, hors d'oeuvres of Antipasto and Caprese, and Dessert Lollipops dipped in chocolate. The 'cocktail party' theme set the stage for nine beautiful hair models to mingle with the clients while our professional stylists provided consultations and answered their questions about hair color and styling products. Our Redken representative passed out free samples and talked about the benefits of each product.” The salon also offered three raffle prizes; two baskets full of products valued at $200.00 each and a "Day of Refuge" spa package valued at $270.00. Each client who came to the event received a gift bag filled with travel size products. As runner-up of Redken’s "Night of Color" contest Sanctuary Salon won $1,000 worth of Redken Color and styling tools. The new tools are being put to quick use by our stylists to bring you the latest in styling and color techniques. |
